Alan Walker and Jez Rogers were flying the Ludlow Castle Motor Club Ltd flag at Loton Park in the Escort Mk 2 trying their hand at hillclimbing recently. The wet conditions meant that the single seaters were brought down to size a little struggling to put their power down in the morning, but the MK 2's advantage disappeared when the tarmac dried out subsequently finishing 6th quickest and 2nd in class by 0.1 sec although some of the lines taken probably have never or will ever be taken on a hillclimb again!
